Hey friends,

If you’ve landed here, thank you. Whether you’ve known me for years or just stumbled upon a song or story that made you curious — I’m glad you're here.

This is the first official blog post on my site, and honestly, it feels like opening the door to a new season. Life has thrown some unexpected turns lately. Healing — both physically and spiritually — has become a daily practice. But through it all, I keep waking up with a grateful heart, a pen in my hand, and music still pushing its way to the surface.

Some of you may have seen this local news story that aired a couple of months ago. It still makes me chuckle that they called me up for songwriting tips — especially for Christmas music. I guess when you’ve written hundreds of them, you get a nickname like Christmas Corey whether you asked for it or not. And truth be told, I wear it with honor. That season, that spirit — it’s always meant more to me than sleigh bells and snowfall. It’s about hope, connection, and showing up with joy no matter the forecast.

That’s what this space will be about. Hope. Music. A look behind the curtain. And maybe a few songs and surprises along the way.

I don’t take for granted any of you who stop by, comment, share a memory, or simply listen. I’ll be posting more updates soon — some personal, some musical, and some in-between. But for now, I just want to say thank you.

If you feel like it, leave a comment below. Tell me something you’re working through or hoping for. Share a favorite lyric. Say hi. We’re all navigating something, and it means the world to walk through it together.

With gratitude and still chasin' dreams,

Corey
